JFCCT Presidents’ Council Meeting hosted by Brazil-Thai Chamber of Commerce (BTCC)
On 27 April 2022, BTCC hosted the monthly Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT)’s Presidents Council Luncheon Meeting, presided by BTCC’s Honorary Patron, H.E. Mr. José Borges dos Santos Júnior, Brazilian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, at the traditional and elegant Anantara Siam Hotel in Bangkok. Also honoring the event were the Brazilian Trade Representative, First Secretary William Santos; the incoming Brazilian Trade Representative, Counsellor Helio Caldas; and the Brazilian Agricultural Attaché to Kingdom of Thailand, Ms. Ana Carolina Lamy.
The meeting was superbly conducted by JFCCT Chairman Stanley Kang and counted with the dignifying presence of the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT)'s Vice Chairman Mr. Pairush Burapachaisri; JFCCT’s Vice Chairs Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg and Dr. Supareak Charlie Chomchan; as well as the presidents of 35 foreign chambers of commerce in Thailand and JFCCT Directors.
Besides BTCC President Marcelo Souza and BTCC Executive Director Claudia Lipert, the meeting was also attended by BTCC Board Members Cecilia Redon, Simone Chung, and Claudia Gomes. The outstanding Brazilian food served during the meeting was prepared by the acclaimed Anantara Siam’s Chef Apisak under the guidance of internationally recognized Brazilian Chef Carla Zeitune.
Luncheon attendees also enjoyed white and red wines produced by the internationally awarded GranMonte winery located in the beautiful and bucolic mountains of Khao Yai, Thailand.
A negative mandatory ATK test was required from all participants for the protection of our valued members and guests.
