BOI-Foreign Chambers of Commerce Consultative Meeting – 10th November 2021
The annual Consultative meeting with the foreign Chambers of Commerce and the Thailand Board of Investment was held online on Wednesday the 10th November 2021, 9.30 - 12.00 hrs.
Ms. Duangjai Asawachintachit, BOI Secretary General, and M.I Chayotid Kridakon, Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Supattanapong Punmeechaow), welcomed all participants. In response, Mr Stanley Kang, JFCCT Chair, thanked Ms. Duangjai and colleagues for their continualous efforts to enhance the investment climate in Thailand.
Ms Duangjai provided an update on BOI policies, with specific topics of interest to the business community. Please see the meeting (Agenda, and JFCCT’s Background topic thumbnails and comprehensive Slide pack)).
JFCCT is grateful to M.L. Chayotid Kridakon, to Ms. Duangjai and her team and to the government officials for their constructive participation. Many of the issues are of a kind which are not resolved in one meeting or interaction and m ay take years to see change. JFCCT continues to support economic enhancement, and in these times in particular, (greener and upskilled) economic recovery.
